I Have One Question...

... in several parts. Since it's the last day of school here at TPPK, I have some inquiries that have been building up for the last nine months or so that I need to get off my chest:

1: When you say: "The Bears won't be with us next year" you don't mean me, right? Because I'm coming back for half of the year. It's been approved. Ask anyone. See you in September.

2: Does this guy on my left really play for the Tar Heels? Isn't he a little small?

3: I know that Theodore Roosevelt died peacefully in his sleep in 1919... But what did he die of?

4: Why am I the only one who asks all the questions? Come on people, have some curiosity about the world.

5: How come we never elected a class president? I had my stump speech memorized.

6: I know I'm the best singer in our class, but who's second?

7: When I become President, I'm going to save all the lemurs. (This isn't so much a question as a declaration. I thought you'd want to know.)

8: Do you like my red shirt?

9: What's Donovan's problem?

10: I've had my hand up now for - gosh, I don't know - like 10 minutes. Is anyone going to call on me?

You learn a lot when you ask questions. Many people aren't brave enough to ask questions so they don't learn much. Some people talk so much they can't think of good questions to ask. It sounds like you are a good question asker, and make people think hard about their answers. I heard you asked questions at the farm, and on your other field trips. I heard you asked questions at the concert. Maybe some day you will be a great scientist who finds a cure for sick people when you ask yourself the right question! Keep thinking!
