Go Steelers!
Jackson here. My sports loyalties are a hodgepodge of family connections and regional relevance. For example: I can just as easily root for the Tar Heels as I can for "the Dukes." It all depends on the tickets and the kind of year each is having...
Which means that, yes, I can be bought. While my loyalties to the Bishops, the Yankees, and the Buckeyes are non-negotiable, I ride the bandwagon when it comes to the Steelers and the aforementioned Heels and "Dukes."
After the Heels got whacked on Saturday (and we won't go into what happened to the Yankees and Buckeyes this year) I was looking forward to the Steelers game today -- as you can see...

I should add that I put on the jersey today only after the Steelers took a 10-0 lead -- because, like I said, I'm a bandwagon guy. My affection for the Steelers emerged only after receiving my first football jersey from Uncle Brian and Aunt Steppy (again, I can be bought). But I must also admit that I kinda liked them before, if only because their kicker once sold Dad some paint at the Chapel Hill Lowe's -- or, as Mommy called it today: "Ho's" (insert joke here).
So, like I said, I was sitting right up front on the bandwagon when things started going badly. The Jets tied the game and looked to have it won, but then their kicker missed two field goals. Then our favorite Ho's clerk got a shot and kicked the game-winner, which made us all pretty happy and led to the following exchange:
Me: Who won?
Daddy: The Steelers.
Me: Why?
Daddy: Because they kicked a field goal.
Me: What?
Daddy: A field goal. It counts three points.
Me: Why does it count three points?
Daddy: Because it does.
Me: (after a pause) Can you put in my movie?

Go Steelers!!! Go Eagles!!! Go Heels--uh oh-- they lost. The PA football teams had an awesome weekend. I love your football outfit. Where is the football?? Maybe you can get a job kicking footballs when you get older. I bet yours would go through the uprights. Grandma Coffman

Jackson you really aren't a Yankees fan are you? Who won the World Series? Grandma Bunny's beloved Red Sox. That's who. And now what about the New England Patriots? Go Pats.

Dear Jackson. You do look great in that Steeler's uniform of yours. However, what happened to the Indianapolis Colts Number Eighteen uniform that was so elegantly wrapped and placed under your Christmas tree? Did your Dad toss it in the trash before you had a chance to open it? Are you now too ashamed to wear it after such a poor showing on Sunday night? How about setting aside the Steeler's outfit for awhile (for did they truly deserve to win?), donning the Indy Colts #18 uniform and marching around your cul-de-sac for all to see your Colts Pride. Sincerely, Still-a-Colts-Fan
