Science Fair

The Southwest Science Fair was a rousing success. "Sweet Science At The Store" by Christopher, Evan, and Jackson garnered a well-earned second-place ribbon.



Donovan's class project looked at how plants grew when water of different temperatures was used (ice and tap water = good; hot water = bad). The Science Fair was also awash with volcanoes (Jackson counted 8) but there was one that stood out for its rigorous application of the scientific method:



Several other projects explored the remarkable animal world, including this one that was either about a common garden insect or feline architecture:
