Ball Games
Anna here. Apparently, this family I've been born into likes to go to the "ball games." They're loud events where people run around in weird looking clothes. We usually stay for a while, a band plays, and people around us cheer. Did I mention the noise?
Anyway, they play a lot of these games around here on the various college campuses. This weekend we went to two: a volleyball game at Duke on Friday night...

And a football game at UNC on Saturday night...

For me, the experience was generally the same. I'm loaded up into a sling attached to Mom. I sleep through most of it. I eat once or twice. And then someone holds me up while someone points a thing at me that flashes light.
Maybe when I get older, I'll enjoy it more, like these two knuckleheads:

I am certain that these two games were just two of your first experiences with sporting events. Actually, you are already a veteran of many soccer games! They don't have as many people, but are probably as loud. It is very exciting to live where you do and be able to see great games. Now--on to basketball!!!! Go Heels! Grandma C.
