Happy Birthday To Me!
Jackson here. Today concludes the weeklong Celebration Of Me. It's been a great week (as any week celebrating me would be) and I'm now officially four years old. Oh, where has all the time gone... The unfocused drooling of my first year... The screaming chaos of my second year... The spiritual awakening of my third year... It's all gone by so fast.
Yesterday, it was party time. A dozen or so of my closest friends came over to revel in all that is me. Here are some photos of the glorious event; a day Durham's elite called the "social event of the season." Enjoy.
First, there were games.. Such as run uphill pushing a truck:

And "Bob, Bob, Scoop...", based on the award-winning "Duck, Duck, Goose..."

And then my friend Madison and the rest of us shoved some cake in our... well, our cakeholes:

And finally, we got to the much-anticipated Bob The Builder Pinata, but not before a rousing version of The Star-Spangled Banner, performed by yours truly:

Thanks to everyone who sent presents and cards. And for those of you who didn't, Christmas will be here before you know it.

thank you Jackson for sending me pictures of your party and it looks like you all had a lot of fun. The pinata game really needed the "Star Spangled Banner" before the eventjust like any important game. Lots of love, grandma bunny

Happy Birthday, Jackson. We enjoyed visiting you and your family this weekend. Your party was much fun. I especially liked the "Silly race". Take care of your new giraffe. He is really cute. And the bay bridge, coal station, and the battery powered engines are much fun. Have a great day at school celebrating your birthday there. Love, Grandma C.
